You know most people think of the word weasel as a bad term, but have you ever looked at an actual weasel? Like, a real one?

Oh god I just can’t-

And let’s not forget that the average weasel is also roughly the size of a banana. Because it clearly wasn’t adorable enough already

I don’t have the right words to ask for what I need. I am in need but that is all I can articulate. I am strong. I am able. I am also still recovering from a deep wound I’ve committed against myself somehow. Something that is easily strained. No matter how I express anguish, there is nothing that I have found to fully heal. I believe I will always be this way. It prevents me from opening to those who might help me heal. It prevents me from trusting or feeling love from others. It is frustrating to know I am isolated and to believe that I have burned everything that could have brought me back. I am trapped on an island that is forever floating into unattainability. A beautiful and successful person I am. A person who truly believes that others love him I am not.

"So, I ask to the women who are still not sure about rape culture, patriarchy, or male supremacy, if you see the problem behind a culture in which “no” is punishable, but where failure to say “no” makes any violation of your personhood your own fault. When you sit back for a moment and think to yourself that surely you can say no to men, and that I am blowing things way out of proportion, then at least do this test within your own life: Start saying No more often when No is what you really want to say. Establish firm boundaries with men and do not let up. See if the male you are saying no to immediately stops and respects your boundary, or if his automatic response, reflexive—as though he’s been learning how to do this since he was a boy, as though he sees no other response more logical than this—is to attempt to do what you have just asked him not to do to you. Notice how you feel when telling a man “no” as well. Do you feel butterflies in your stomach? Do you feel guilty (denying him his right of access to you)? Do you feel mean? Do you feel unsure at all as to whether or not you have the right to tell him no? It is very easy to feel that men are not so bad when you are still making sure to give them what they want."

Richard Haste, an NYPD officer, killed an unarmed black teen (Ramarley Graham) in front of his grandmother and 6-year-old brother at point blank range over marijuana. The landlady, Paulet Minzie, 55, ran out the shower with only a towel after hearing the gunshots. Officers then put a gun to her head and told her to put her hands up. It wasn’t until she told them that there were cameras surveilling them, that they put their guns down.

Court papers say “[He\] immediately lowered his weapon. His demeanor completely changed, and he alerted his colleague that they may be on camera,”. The footage later revealed that Graham walked calmly to his apartment followed by police barging in without a warrant, contradicting the officers original claim that the teenager was running away from him. (Source)

Haste was freed on $50,000 bail yesterday after pleading not guilty. Police cheered for him as the parents of Graham wept in the court room.

Genocide.

Murderers. Evil filthy murderers. I hate the police.

this is important
